Earl Gulley

Earl Gulley, 77 years of Winchester, passed away Friday, November 11, 2011 at Christ Hospital.

He was born in Adams County, Ohio on March 8, 1934 the son of the late Rufus E. and Daisey Polley Gulley.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Mary Lee Clark Gulley, second wife Betty Hardin Gulley, infant daughter Donna Jean Gulley, three brothers; Raymond, Ray, & James Everett Gulley, and one sister; Grace Chandler.

Earl attended Winchester United Methodist Church and was a U.S. Army Veteran.

He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law; Cindy and Scott Rhorick of Harker Heights, Texas, one brother and sister-in-law; William Bruce and Amelia Gulley of Wilmington, one sister and brother-in-law; Mabel and Wendell Beasley of West Union, three granddaughters; Kristyn, Megan, and Mary, and special friend Barbara Storer of Hillsboro.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday at Winchester Cemetery; Military Rites will be given by the Adams County Honor Guard.

Celebration of Life will be Thursday at 11:00 A.M. at Winchester United Methodist Church with Rev. John Waugh officiating.

Friends may call on Wednesday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. and also one hour prior to graveside service on Thursday from 9:00 till 10:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester.

Memorials may be made to Winchester United Methodist Church.
