Earl Gulley, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and skilled carpenter, passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 57. Born on October 30, 1967, in Greenfield, Ohio, Earl lived a life filled with passion, creativity, and a deep love for his family and friends. Earl was the son of the late David and Pamela (Case) Gulley. Besides his parents, he is also preceded by his wife, Jody Gulley on January 27, 2017 and grandmother, Betty Dick.

A man of many talents, Earl poured his heart into his work as a carpenter, creating beautiful pieces that will be cherished by those who knew him. His artistic flair extended beyond woodworking; he found joy in riding his cherished Harley Davidson motorcycle, embracing the freedom of the open road. Earl's adventurous spirit was matched only by his dedication to his family. He was a proud father to his son, Eric (Rachel) Gulley, his daughter, Rachael (Alex) Fannin, cherished grandfather to his beloved grandchildren, Dax, Lilly, Theo and Cecilia. He also leaves behind his brother, Kenny (Trang) Gulley, uncle, Keith (Patsy) Dick, aunt, Dee (George) Hike, mother-in-law, Margaret Malicote, father-in-law, John (Shellie) Williamson, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Erin and Danny Bales, Adam (Sondi) Williamson, Andy (Lindsey) Williamson, John (Shellie) Williamson, niece and nephew, Jenny and Jeremy, step-grandfather, Larry Dick and a host of friends.

A veteran of the Army, Earl served his country with honor and pride. He attended Good News Gathering, where he formed lasting connections and found a community that reflected his values of love, kindness, and service.

Earl's exuberance for life, infectious laughter, and compassionate heart left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He was not just a carpenter or a motorcycle enthusiast; he was a beacon of love and strength for his family, embracing every moment with joy and gratitude.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM on Friday February 28, 2025 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow with Military Rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard at Hightop Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Thursday February 27, 2025 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
