Earnest L. Short, 74 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Sunday April 3, 2016 at the Laurels of Hillsboro.
He was born in Pike County on August 24, 1941, the son of the late Lin and Knova (Boggs) Short. Besides his parents he was also preceded by his wife Ruth (Crabtree) Short; four sisters, Evalene Morris, Loraine Short, Mary Lunkes, and Felicia Chancey; three brothers, Estill Short, Thomas Short, and Edgar Short.
Earnest is survived by one sister, Iva Lou Legg of Cynthiana, OH.
There will be no visitation. In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated.
