Ed Johnson, 70 years of Winchester, died Monday, July 8, 2002 at U.C. Medical Center in Cincinnati.
He was born in Rarden, Ohio on November 1, 1931 the son of the late Calvin and Edna White Johnson.
He was a member of the Winchester Church of Christ in Christian Union. He was a United States Marine veteran of the Korean Conflict.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Johnson, who passed away on November 1, 1988.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Clyde and Nancy Johnson of Winchester, sister, Linda Massa of Winchester, and niece, Julie Swackhammer of Winchester.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at the Winchester Church of Christ in Christian Union with Dan Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Winchester Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home in Winchester is in charge of arrangements.
