Eddie Eubanks, 89 years of Peebles, passed away Friday, February 12, 2010 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Peebles, Ohio on August 18, 1920 the son of the late Carl and Cora Boyd Eubanks.
Eddie was a member of the Peebles Church of Christ, the Peebles Masonic Lodge #581, and the Scottish Rite Valley of Cincinnati.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one sister; Nadine Bayes.
He is survived by his wife Jeanne La Porte Eubanks of Peebles; whom he married on November 27, 1976, one son and daughter-in-law; Gary and Sue Eubanks of Bakersfield, California, two step daughters; Gail and Tom Gangale of San Rafael, California and Lora Pitsinger of Grand Canyon, Arizona, three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Peebles Church of Christ with Jim Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:00 till 11:00 A.M. at the Peebles Church of Christ with a Masonic service at 10:30 A.M. The Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Blvd. Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154.
