Edgar Link, 81 years of Winchester, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2009 at his residence.
He was born in Van Nuys, California on June 23, 1928 the son of the late Delbert Link and grandson of Frances Emery.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one grandson; Derek.
Edgar was a longtime member of the Winchester First Church of Christ, a U.S. Navy Veteran, and the owner of the Links Evergreen Nursery.
He is survived by his wife of fifty eight years, Thelma Hughes Link of Winchester, three sons and daughters-in-law; Terry and Teresa Link of West Union, Mike and Shirley Link of Winchester, and Scott and Jennifer Link of Sardinia, one daughter and son-in-law; Kendra and Nate Stice of Williamsburg, Ohio, eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, July 27, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at the Winchester First Church of Christ with Don Thomas officiating; the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Blvd. Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154.
