Edith I. McClure, 70 years of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Clinton Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Highland County, OH. on August 24, 1943, the daughter of the late Joseph E. and Mary Margaret Perrin Arledge. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Nelson Glenn McClure, Jr. on August 20, 2012 and a great grandson Connor Harold Thomas.
Edith had worked for Robertshaw Controls and the Main Street Diner in Hillsboro.
She is survived by son Tracy McClure of Hillsboro; daughter and son-in-law Teresa and Jamie Parrish of Bainbridge; granddaughter Lisa Parrish; three brothers and sisters-in-law Larry and Deloris Arledge, Wayne and Pauline Arledge, Kevin and Clara Arledge, sister-in-law Ruth Truman all of Hillsboro; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 5, 2014 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Burial will follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery.
Friends may call Sunday from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
