Edith Phillips, 85 years of Hillsboro, died Monday, March 12, 2007 at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.
She was born in Williamson, West Virginia on February 13, 1922 the daughter of the late Quincy and Mary Oney Nelson.
She was a member of the Rocky Fork Baptist Church and the Women?s Auxiliary Moose Lodge in Williamson, West Virginia.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Houston Phillips, who passed away on November 18, 1993, and one grandson, Michael Everett Phillips.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Everett H. and Karel Phillips, Jr. of Columbus, Hiram and Linda Phillips of Columbus, Michael Phillips of Hillsboro, Charlie and Ashley Daniels Phillips of Hillsboro, daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ann and Daniel Miller of Hillsboro, sisters, Edna McKinney of Logan, West Virginia, Evelyn Lusk of Roanoke, Virginia, eight grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Pastor Herschel Holley officiating. Burial will follow in the Marshall Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to charity of choice.
