Edna M. Tucker, 94 years of Seaman, died Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Peebles.
She was born in Wright County, Missouri on September 23, 1910 the daughter of the late John A. and Ida Mae Bennett Austin.
She was a school teacher in Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Tira Hopkins, who passed away in 1933, her second husband, Charles A. Tucker, who passed away in March 1977, sister, Marie, and two grandchildren, David A. Hall and Geary W. Hall.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol June Hall of Middletown, six grandchildren, Samuel L. Hall, John A. Hall, James B. Hall, Rebecca A. Wienc, Thomas M. Hall, Benjamin A. Hall, ten great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at the Louisville Memorial Gardens West in Louisville, Kentucky with Gary Pettyjohn officiating. Burial will follow in the Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
There will be no visitation.
Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman is in charge of arrangements.
