Edward O. Bailey, 83 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, February 3, 2005 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
He was born in Columbus, Indiana on July 16, 1921.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Leilani Loree Dill, two brothers and six sisters.
He is survived by his wife Mabel Stethem Bailey whom he married on March 16, 1954, one daughter and son-in-law, Martha and Earl Shannon of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, one granddaughter Monique Michael Everitt, two great grandchildren, two step grandchildren, Mark and Toni, four step great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 7, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home with Brother Jeff Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in the Saints Cemetery near Sinking Spring.
Friends may call on Monday from 12:00 noon till service time at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorial may be made to the Charity of your Choice.
