Edward E. Gene Cameron

November 14, 1917 — July 8, 2003

Edward Eugene Gene Cameron, 85 years of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown, Maryland.

He was born in Marshall, Ohio on November 14, 1917 the son of the late Claude and Margaret Watts Cameron.

He was an Army Veteran of W.W. II and retired from the Air Force. He was a member and Elder of the Hillsboro First Presbyterian Church, very active in 4H and owned and operated the Cameron International Harvester dealership in Seaman for several years.

He was united in marriage on July 8, 1947 to Pauline Mullenix Cameron, who survives. He is also survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, John Cameron of Ram Rod Key, Florida, Jeff and Darrilyn Cameron of Brentwood, TN, Joel and Marianne Cameron of Gallatin, TN , Jim Cameron of Hillsboro, one daughter Jane Cameron of Cincinnati, OH., seven grandchildren, Camille David Uldricks, Lauren Mike Moore, Courtney Cameron, Allyson Cameron, Brittany Cameron, Savannah Cameron, Cayse Cameron, one great grandson Cameron Uldricks, brother and sister-in-law Gerald Leroy and Mamie Cameron of Anderson, IN, and sisters and brother-in-law Helen Lucille and Floyd Saul of Dublin, Ohio, and Charma Reno of Hillsboro.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hillsboro First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Maurice Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.

Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hillsboro First Presbyterian Church.

Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
