Edward "Paul" Schwab, Jr.

Edward "Paul" Schwab, Jr., 73 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020.
Paul was born in Norfolk, VA. on June 11, 1946, the son of the late Edward P. and Rose (Hardy) Schwab, Sr. Beside his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Garnett Taylor and step-father, Robert Blair.
Paul served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, attended Good News Gathering Church, was in the Southern Ohio Toy Farmers, a life member of DAV #123, Boys Scout leader for several years and was a foster parent.
Paul is survived by his wife, Daphne (Dresser) Schwab; step-son, Richard King of Lamington, Ontario; step-daughter, Krista King of Hillsboro; brother, Thomas (Rose) Taylor of Wichita Falls, TX.; sister-in-law, Carmela Taylor Herndon, VA.; brother-in-law, Kevin Dresser of Kingsville, Ontario; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Chaplin Michael Montgomery will officiate.
Military Rites will be conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard prior to the Celebration of Life.
Inurnment of Cremains will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 13, 2022 at the Dayton National Cemetery.
