Edwin E. "Eddie" Graves, 90 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, August 16, 2007 at his residence.
He was born in Vinton County, Ohio on March 9, 1917 the son of the late Walter and Belle Liming Graves.
Mr. Graves sold horse trailers for forty years to locations all over the United States. He was an avid horseman, a member of the American Quarter Horse Association, and the American Paint Horse Association. He was a member of the Prospect United Methodist Church.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Emma Graves, one sister, Ivy, and four brothers, Dallas, Delbert, Wayne, and Everet.
He was united in marriage in November of 1969 to Betty Collins Graves, who survives. He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Rich and Nancy Graves of Leesburg, brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Marie Graves of Copley, Ohio, grandchildren, Todd Alicia Graves of Cincinnati, Nicki Chris Fleming of Cincinnati, four great grandchildren, Jordan, Alec, and Logan Graves, Morgan Fleming, special friends, Jason and Stacey McKee, Melissa and Roger Smith, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Ed Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
