Elizabeth A. Rogers, 92 years of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, July 21, 2009.
She was born in Highland County on January 20, 1917 the daughter of the late
Leighton Bruce and Glenna M. Garman Park.
She was a member of the Harriett Missionary Church.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by husband, Raymond R. Rogers on March 17, 1994, one son Hugh Rogers, one daughter-in-law, Frances Rogers, one son-in-law, Ron Horton, one grandson, Richard Horton.
She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Larry Rogers of Hillsboro, David Rogers of Boise Idaho, Duane and Carol Rogers of Hillsboro, Francis D. and Janice Rogers of Hillsboro, two daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and George Greer of Hillsboro, Sandra and Donald Anderson of New Vienna, daughter-in-law, Patsy Rogers of Hillsboro, one sister, Norma Hamilton of Greenfield and eighteen grandchildren, twenty nine great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2009 at 11:00 A.M at the Thompson Funeral Home with Pastor James Sollars officiating. Burial will follow in the Marshall Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday evening from 4:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Hope, Ohio Valley, 215 Hughes Blvd, Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154
