Elizabeth M. Wiggins, 94, a.k.a. Frances of Wheaton, IL and formerly of Columbus, OH, died Monday, July 5, 2004, at Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield, IL.
She was born August 14, 1909 in Clinton County, OH.
She was, for many years, an active member of the Bexley United Methodist Church, Columbus OH., where she participated in many of its social activities, especially service and bridge clubs.
She is survived by three sisters; Jeanette Miller of Hillsboro, OH, Hilda Lucas, and Kathryn Karnes of Greenfield, OH; her son David L. Wiggins wife Barbara of Wheaton, IL, four grandchildren, Kellie A Wiggins of Franklin, WI, Tracie E Miller of Kernville, CA, David L Wiggins, II of Chicago, IL, and Deborah L Wiggins of Evanston, IL and a great granddaughter Haley E. Wiggins-Miller of Kernville, CA.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lawson H. Wiggins, and her daughter Sharon E. Wiggins.
Services to be held at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, OH on Saturday July 10, 2004. Visitation at 10:00 AM with a service to begin at 11:30 AM, and a graveside service following.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Elizabeth M. Wiggins Memorial Fund, C/O the Bexley United Methodist Church, 2657 E. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43209 or the National Ovarian Cancer Research Program, C/O Northwestern Woman's Prentice Hospital 333 E. Superior St, Suite 420, Chicago, IL 60611.
