Elmer Lee Crabtree, 41 years of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, April 16, 2002 as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 12, 1960 the son of Jimmie Ray Crabtree and Ruth Evelynn Sluss Crabtree.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Ray Crabtree, two sisters, and one brother.
He is survived by four sons, Jimmie Ray Crabtree of London, Ohio, Arthur William Lee Crabtree of Hillsboro, Joshua Franklin Crabtree of Hillsboro, Elmer Jonathon Crabtree of Hillsboro, step daughter, Alisha Marie Johnson of London, grandchildren, Destiny Renee Crabtree of London, Timothy Ray Crabtree of London, mother, Ruth Evelynn Crabtree of Hillsboro, step father, Ernest Lee Short of Hillsboro, four sisters, Carrie Haskill of Peebles, Anita Trisdale of Hillsboro, Lisa Carmack of Peebles, Djuna Donna Shoop of Carmel, fiancé, Janelle Crabtree of London, ex wife, Tina Crabtree of Kentucky, ten nieces and nephews, ten great nieces and nephews, and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 19, 2002 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Billy Shaffer officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hillsboro.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
