Elsie Jeanett Rhoads, 75 years of Martinsville, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at her residence.
She was born at Wilmington on January 30, 1937 the daughter of the late Albert and Esther Constant Brannon. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Joann Brannon
She had been a cashier for Kroger and Bob & Carl's.
She is survived by her husband Eugene Rhoads whom she married on October 1, 1955, four sons and daughters-in-law, Mike Rhoads of St. Martins; Mark Rhoads of Sabina; Steve and Lori Rhoads of Madison, GA; Bruce and Khaya Rhoads of Blanchester; two brothers and sister-in-law, Jerry Brannon of NewVienna; James and Shirley Brannon of New Vienna; two sisters, Esther Ann Spence of Xenia; Shirley Corando of CA; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Pastor Thomas Garlock officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call Saturday from 12:00 noon till 2:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home.
