Elsie L. ?Becky? Schubert, 77 years of Highland, died Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born April 6, 1929 at Greenfield, Ohio, the daughter of the late Orval and Tennie Ball Newman. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William S. ?Bill? Schubert on March 18, 2006; two sisters, Ethel Mann and Hazel Harrison.
Becky is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Shirley Newman of Hillsboro, Bucky and Julia Newman of Highland; two sisters and brother-in-law, Stella Graves of Houston, Texas, Daisy and Bud Sass of Wellston, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:30 P.M. Saturday, January 13, 2007 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Rev. David Titler will officiate with burial to follow in the Highland Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 11:30 A.M. until service time at 1:30 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Highland United Methodist Church.
