Elva B. Post, 100 years of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, May 27, 2003 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
She was born in Highland County, Ohio on September 4, 1902 the daughter of the late Walter M. and Ida Mae Thompson Grove.
She was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl C. Post, who passed away on March 17, 1962, two sisters Edith Redkey and Dorothy Hull, a brother John L. Grove, a nephew Dwight Hull.
She is survived by two nieces, Doris Jean Pierce of Hillsboro and Wanda Maxine Boggess of Phoenix, Arizona, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Edgar and Mary Post of Dayton, Ohio, two great nephews and a great niece, several great great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with John Porter officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Hillsboro Church of Christ.
