Elzie V. Perkins

Elzie V. Perkins, 83 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Tuesday August 5, 2014 at the Heartland of Hillsboro.
He was born in Morehead, KY on April 22, 1931, the son of the late Warner and Fannie Wallace Perkins. Besides his parents he was also preceded by his wife Marie Monteith Perkins, two brothers Ovie and Quiller Perkins and one sister Lillian Hargett.
Elzie served on the Bright Local School Board for twelve years.
Elzie is survived by his three sons, Samual Deb Perkins of Kettering, Tommy BJ Perkins of Hillsboro and Steven Donna Perkins of Hillsboro, two sisters Berchie Ison of Bainbridge and Lena Davis of Morehead, KY, seven grandchildren Tracy Alex Gerken, Kelly Justin Heil, Brian Sarah Perkins, Christa Josh Anglemyer, Stephanie Tim Cowguill, Greg Jen Perkins and Kyle Shana Perkins and eleven great grandchildren; Hayden, Emerson and Charlotte Gerken, Hadley and Holden Heil, Erin Anglemyer, Kayleigh and Eddie Cowguill and Gabriella, Ashton and Matthew Perkins.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday August 9, 2014 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery.
Friends may call at 11:00 A.M. until time of service on Saturday August 9, 2014 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
