Emma Allen Ferguson

Emma Allen Ferguson, 100 years of Seaman, died Monday, March 11, 2002 at the Pleasant Hill Manor in Piketon, Ohio.

She was born in Lawrence County, Kentucky on September 6, 1901 the daughter of the late James and Nancy Wells Boggs.

She was a member of the Old Paint Primitive Baptist Church of West Liberty, Kentucky.

Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Ferguson, in 1980, son, Paul Allen, in 1975, one stepson, Edward Ferguson, one stepdaughter, Juanita Smitley, and one brother.

She is survived by daughter-in-law, Jean Allen of Portsmouth, eight grandchildren, Ron Allen of Lucasville, Tom Allen of Columbus, Mike Allen of North Carolina, Steve Allen of Lucasville, Tim Allen of Grove City, Kathy Conklin of Lucasville, Karen Montgomery of Lucasville, Susan Didyk of Galloway, two stepsons, Loman Ferguson of Cleveland, Stanley Ferguson of Cleveland, stepdaughters, Reva Thompson of Cleveland, Esta Mae List of Dover, Ohio, seventeen step grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Rev. Tim Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Tranquility Cemetery.

Friends may call on Thursday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
