Eric Countryman

Eric W. Countryman, 53 years of age, from Peebles, OH., passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

He was born on April 14, 1971, in West Union, OH., the son of Charles Robert and Ada Ann (Hill) Countryman of Peebles. Eric is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John B. and Gertrude (Douglas) Countryman, maternal grandparents, Asa and Pearlie (Crothers) Hill; and one brother, Charlie Countryman.

Eric was a 1989 graduate of Peebles High School. He was employed for the past 30 years at Plum Run Stone Quarry. Eric was a "Jack of All Trades" he enjoyed creating anything using his hands. From building furniture to creating a feast for his family and friends. He enjoyed hosting all his family gatherings for the holidays and special occasions, and ensuring everyone left full of love and food. He enjoyed activities outdoors with his wife and grandchildren, such as fishing and gardening. Eric was a generous, selfless, and humble man who gave to those who asked. Whether it be his time, skills, or money he was willing to help anyone. His last selfless act was donating to the Life Center.

Besides his parents he is survived by his wife Tonya J. (Skinner) Countryman, two sons Blake C. Countryman of Seaman, Ohio and Kaleb J. Boldman of McDermott, OH; one daughter, Kaytlyn M. Roush of Mt. Orab, Ohio. Also, three grandchildren, Kensington and Grayson Williams, and Liam Countryman. Three bothers, Gavin Countryman of Dayton, Ohio. Danny and Shaun Countryman, both of Peebles; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
