Erma Butler, 70 years of Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013
at Columbus, Ohio.
She was born on May 19, 1942 in Greenfield, Ohio the daughter of the late William and Icy Parks Baxla. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Truman Butler, son William Scott Butler, granddaughter Jessica Nicole Roberts, 4 sisters, Viva Nell Black, Waneta Wallace, Martha Lindsay and Wilma Jean Smith.
She married Truman H. Butler on January 21, 1960
She is survived by three sons, Truman Duane Tresa Butler of Hillsboro, David J. Butler of St. Petersburg, FL, Daniel L. Butler of Columbus; three daughters, Donna Roberts of Mt. Orab, Denise Chris Young of Hillsboro, DeeAnne Bug Butler of
Columbus; 7 grandchildren, Lindsay and Emily Butler, Jennifer Morgan, Charles, Christopher and Renae Roberts, Zach Young; 5 great grandchildren; two brothers, Loren Donna Baxla, S.Lamar Baxla; two sisters, Rita Charles Shonkwiler, Phyllis Charles Willis; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held 7:00 P.M. Monday, March 25, 2013 at the Thompson Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Trenum and Truman Duane Butler officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 till 7:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Private grave side services will be held at the convenience of the family.
