Ernest L. Barrett, 64 years of Seaman, died Monday, March 6, 2006 at Anderson Mercy Hospital in Cincinnati.
He was born in Bloomington, Illinois on July 10, 1941 the son of the late Linus and Laura Mae Barnes Barrett.
He was the current minister of the Seaman Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Beck Barrett of Seaman, sons and daughters-in-law, Ed and Teresa Barrett of Etna Green, Indiana, Mark and Melissa Barrett of Ft. Madison, Iowa, Jeff Barrett of Sevierville, Tennessee, daughter and son-in-law, Kristi and Anthony Maynard of McDermott, Ohio, brother, Eugene Barrett of Columbia City, Indiana, sisters, Karla Beauchamp of Tennessee, Lela Hart of Florida, and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Tom Claibourne and David Shelton officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Leigh Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
