Ernest F. Cook Jr., 77 years of Peebles, died Saturday, December 31, 2005 at his residence.
He was born at Colvert, New York on September 3, 1928 the son of the late Ernest and Lillian Shaler Cook Sr..
He was a US Army Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict and had worked on construction.
He is survived by one nephew and wife, Harry and Sarah Cook of Peebles, two brothers, Charles Cook of Indiana, James Cook of Florida, two sisters, Virginia Hanson of Florida, Carol Morgan of Florida,
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dale Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the Jacksonville
Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. till time of service at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
