Ersel Junior May, 79 years of Peebles, died Friday, November 26, 2004 at the Adams County Hospital.
He was born Pikeville, KY on January 28, 1925 the son of the late Wid and Lenora May.
He was a member of the Union Hill Church and a Construction Worker for many years and retired from Plum Run Stone Quarry.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by sisters, Pauline Moore, Dorothy McQuire, brothers, Fonso, Elmer, Lonzo Woodrow, Fred, and Rob May.
He is survived by sons Ersel May of Washington, State, Jeff May of Washington, State, Larry May of Portsmouth, Elanore May of Washington, State, Cindy Strom of Washington, State, Jeannie Hayslip of Stout, Shilla Galloway of Peebles, Rhonda Lafever of Michigan, Wanda May of Michigan, Juanita Clarke of Oregon, Penny Bishop of Oklahoma, Tammy Savage of Stout, step children, Ray Alloway of Kansas, Jeff Alloway of Ohio, Cheryl Howe of Peebles, Tim Howe of Peebles, twenty nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, brothers, Tommy, Sam, Mayo, Charles and Willis May, sisters, Sadie Moore and Dolly Zappola, and his companion of many years Shirley Howe whom he loved very much.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 29, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Phil Fulton officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 12:00 Noon till time of service at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
