Ervin W. Griffith, 97 years of Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at his residence.
Ervin was born March 11, 1921 in Highland County, the son of the late Carey Q. and Elsie N. (Penwell) Griffith. Beside his parents, Ervin was preceded in death by wife, Mary Kathleen (Scott) Griffith after 64 years of marriage; three brothers, Joseph, Stanley and Vernon Griffith; three sisters, Lois Bradshaw, Virginia Satterfield and Elma Tucker.
Ervin was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ where is also served as a Deacon. He owned and operated a construction business in Hillsboro for several years where he hauled Lime, Stone and Bull Dozer work prior to farming.
Ervin is survived by his two sons, Mark Griffith of Hillsboro and Jeff (Ingrid) Griffith of McComb, OH, four grandchildren, Eden, Marah, Canaan, and Desarai Griffith, two great grandchildren, Anderson and Avery Adams and two sisters, Elsie Purcell of Hillsboro and Edna Willett of North Carolina.
Ervin will be buried at the Resthaven Memory Gardens at the Convenience of the Family.
