Esther M. Duffey, 81 years of Peebles, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at her residence.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on March 27, 1925 the daughter of the late Robert and Ruth Finney Glasgow.
She was Bookkeeper for the Adams County Senior Citizens. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church of West Union.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Duffey, who passed away in 1965, and one brother, Mac Glasgow.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Dan Duffey of Alabama, David and Lois Duffey of Greenville, South Carolina, daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Jim Bilbrey of Peebles, brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Mary Glasgow of Manchester, sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Nelson Atkinson of Peebles, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Pastor Tim Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherry Fork Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Bible Baptist Church Building Fund, 9840 State Route 41, West Union, OH 45693.
