Esto Setty, 91 years of Peebles, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2009 at Adams County Manor.
He was born in Peebles, Ohio on November 29, 1917 the son of the late John and Maude Cadwalleder Setty.
Esto was a longtime member of the Peebles Church of Christ in Christian Union and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife Bessie Boldman Setty of Peebles, whom he married in April 1940, son Wayne Setty of Peebles, daughter and son-in-law Karen and Tim Williams of Peebles, brother Berlin Setty of West Union, four grandchildren, Terry, Tim, Abbie, and Jordan, and four great grandchildren, Trevor, Treg, Haleigh, and Colin.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 5, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Peebles Church of Christ in Christian Union with Dave Hopkins and Richard Lloyd co- officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery with a military graveside service by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 till 5:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
