Ethel M. Messer, 95 years of Peebles, died Monday, January 3, 2005 at her residence.
She was born in Hazard, Kentucky on August 1, 1909 the daughter of the late Riley and Nannie Messer Stacey.
She was a member of the Peebles Nazarene Church and the Peebles Order of Eastern Star Chapter #396.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Zora Messer, who passed away on February 25, 1994.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lois & Earl Isaac of Peebles, three step children, two brothers, John Stacey of Waynesville, Riley Stacey, Jr. of Beavercreek, two grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at 6:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Raymond Cox and Larry Windle officiating. Burial will follow Thursday, January 6, 2005 at the Riverside Cemetery in Hazard, Kentucky.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 till 6:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
