Ethel Mae Rhoads

Ethel Mae Rhoads, 80 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Tuesday April 12, 2016 at her residence.

She was born in Adams County on January 21, 1936, the daughter of the late Chester and Frances (Aldridge) Parker. Besides her parents she was also preceded by her husband John Rhoads, Jr. and son, John Boy Rhoads.

Ethel is survived by her son, Robert Eric (Kathleen) Rhoads of Hillsboro, two daughters, Linda Sue (Ron) Kelly of Hillsboro and Debra (Merle) King of Hillsboro, brother, Harold Parker of Mechanicsburg, OH, eight grandchildren; Cristy Brown, Deanna Cordy, Timothy King, Casey King, Jerry King, Joshua Rhoads, Brittany Rhoads and Christina Rhoads and thirteen great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 2:30 PM on Friday April 15, 2016 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.

Friends may call at 12:30 PM until time of services at the Thompson Funeral Home.
