Ethie B. Puckett Surber, 95 years of Hillsboro, OH. passed away Saturday March 1, 2014 at the Highland District Hospital.
She was born June 25, 1918 in Peebles, OH. to the late Alfred and Sadie Colvin Puckett. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her first husband the late George Boldman also her second husband the late George Surber; two sons Dean Boldman and Paul Boldman; brothers Russell, infant son James Robert, Joe, Ben, Edward and Chester Puckett; sisters Anna Francis Puckett, Audrey Gustin, Mary Whiting; great great twin granddaughter Shelby.
She is survived by daughter Darlene Surber where she made her home and son Elza Jan Boldman of Edmond, OK.; sister Doris McCoppin of Greenfield, OH.; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren.
Ethie was a loving mother, homemaker and grandmother loved by all who knew her. She attended the Samantha Freewill Baptist Church and truly loved her Pastor Wiley Perkins.
Funeral Services will be held 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
The Rev. Wiley Perkins will officiate with burial to follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Samantha Freewill Baptist Church
