Evelyn Brown, 88 years of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, December 23, 2011 at her residence.
She was born in Highland County on July 27, 1923 the daughter of the late Harley and Lena Lamonda Vance. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Woodrow Brown on August 3, 1997, one son Roger Lee Brown, one daughter Judith Brown, two great grandchildren Brandon Webster and Trey Parker, eight sisters and one brother.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Veronica Brown of Hillsboro, OH., Richard and Ginny Brown of Rome, OH., two daughters and son-in-law, Carol Ann and Ed West of Washington CH, OH., Brenda Caudill of London, OH., 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, special niece, Sharon Davis of Hillsboro, OH., several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Burial will follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home.
