Evelyn Harrell Vinson Jackson

Evelyn Harrell Vinson Jackson, 73 years of Winchester, died Thursday, May 9, 2002 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.

She was born in Roseboro, North Carolina on February 8, 1929 the daughter of the late Albert Samuel and Kate Harrell Vinson.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Mt. Olive, North Carolina and the Nathaniel Massie Chapter #548 of O.E.S.

Beside her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert Vinson, Robert Vinson, and one sister, Lena Gerz.

She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Earl F. Jackson of Winchester, who she married on November 25, 1951, son and daughter-in-law, Earl F. and Donna Jackson, Jr. of Maysville, Kentucky, three daughters, Denise Loré Jackson of Columbus, Karen Jackson of Hillsboro, Lisa Tara Jackson Combs and husband Jeffrey of Crittenden, Kentucky, three sisters, Helen Daughrty of Huntington, West Virginia, Ann Warren of Pamona, California, Katie Brook of Durham, North Carolina, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 13, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at the Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home in Winchester with Rev. Alan Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.

Friends may call on Monday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home.
