Evelyn Marie Mcclanahan

Evelyn McClanahan, age 95 of Seaman, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Hillside Nursing Home.
She was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 12, 1918 the daughter of the late James and Anna Hoffer Sattler.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Fred McClanahan, who passed away on June 24, 1973 and two sons, Jim and Raymond McClanahan.
She is survived by six sons, George of Hillsboro, David and Juanita of Peebles, Howard of Peebles, Tom of Seaman, Jack and Bev of Seaman, and Gary McClanahan of Leesburg; two daughters, Louise Brookover of Peebles and Rose Harris of Lexington, Kentucky; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Evergreen Cemetery with Dave Hopkins officiating. Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of the arrangements.
