Evelyn Nichols, 93 years of Peebles, died Thursday, February 28, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton Care Center.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on May 16, 1914 the daughter of the late Ora and Etta Daugherty Newman.
She was a longtime member of the Peebles Church of Christ.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Willard Nichols, son Carl Nichols, daughter Winona Armstrong, and grandson Brian Nichols.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Warren and Sharon Nichols of Lancaster, daughter and son-in-law Rhonda and Tom Long of Waverly, daughter Rita Young of Dayton, nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 3, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Peebles Church of Christ with Jim Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Peebles Church of Christ.
