Evelyn O. Shelby, 96 years of Seaman, died Friday, January 16, 2004 at the Adams County Hospital.
She was born at Cincinnati, Ohio on February 27, 1907 the daughter of Melville and Margaret Braun Hanning.
She attended the Hillsboro St Mary Episcopal Church and was a member of Winchester Chapter #188 Order Eastern Star.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Leslie Shelby in 1956 and five Sisters.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William and Nancy Shelby of Seaman, one grandson Will Shelby of Seaman, one sister, Goldie Clarkson of Elizabethtown, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at the Seaman Presbyterian Church under the direction of the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Tranquility Cemetery.
Friends may call from 11:00 A.M. till service time at 1:00 P.M. at the church.
