Evelyn Stanforth, 85 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, November 17, 2005 at the Laurels of Hillsboro.
She was born May 16, 1920 at
Fairfax, Ohio the daughter of the late Glenn R. and Elba Irene Beatty Mercer.
She was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ, Hillsboro Chapter #441 Order Eastern Star and Junior Women?s Club. Evelyn was a retired teacher having taught in the Marshall and
Hillsboro School System.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Allen C. ?Bud? Stanforth on May 25, 1992.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Tom and Mary Stanforth of Hillsboro, two daughters and son-in-law, Sally and Bruce Davis of Hillsboro, Dr. Debb Stanforth of Swanton, OH, six grandchildren, Tommy Jennifer Stanforth, Megan Scott Parsons, Courtney Erik Swope, Tim Tara Davis, Jenny Davis and Erin Davis and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Convenience of the Family on Monday, November 21, 2005 with Rev. Todd Toole officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
