Evelyn Turner, 83 years of Peebles, died Sunday, January 15, 2006.
She was born October 8, 1922 in Greenup, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Willis and Flora Webb Mauk.
Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Claude Turner, March 17, 1995.
Evelyn was a member of the
Peebles Church of Christ.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Darlene Turner of Peebles; one grandson Gregory Claude Turner, one great grandson, Kain Turner, two step grandchildren, Alison Dunn and John Savage; one brother, Bill Mauk of Mayslick, KY.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 19, 2006 at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles. Bill Christman will officiate with burial to follow in the Locust Grove
Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
