Evelyn I. Yarger, 88 years of Hillsboro, died Saturday, August 16, 2003 at Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born at Louden, Ohio on August 1, 1915 the daughter of the late Tobias and Grace Seaman Ward.
She was a member of the Hillsboro Church of Christ, Women?s Bible Study Group and Retired from Robertshaw Controls in Hillsboro.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Henry Yarger on April 2, 1993, one daughter Delores JoAnn Yarger, eight brothers, Irvin, Elmer, Gene, Paul, Donald Lee, Charlie, James B. and Robert Ward, one sister Louise Warnock.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Arlene and Robert Cox of Hillsboro, Sandra and Victor Crum of Hillsboro, Connie and John Hanna of Hillsboro, two brothers, Leroy Ward and Chester Ward both of Hillsboro, eight grandchildren, Steve Cox of Hillsboro, Jeffry Teresa Cox of Hillsboro, Kellie Jeff Yochum of Hillsboro, Melissa Anton DeFrancesco of Melbourne, FL, Douglas Donna Crum of Hillsboro, Brian Deanna Crum of Hillsboro, Jason Hanna of Cincinnati, Megan Hanna of Columbus, six great grandchildren, Joshua and Corey Cox, Steven Christ, Hannah and Jalyn Yochum and Joshua David Crum.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5378 Cox Smith Road, Mason, Ohio 45040
