Everett J. Dick Garman, 93 years old of Sinking Spring Community died Monday, December 02, 2002 at the home of his son.
He was born in Adams County, August 10, 1909 the son of the late Charles and Mary Cline Garman.
Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife Marie Knauff Garman on April 10, 1956, one daughter and four sons.
He married his second wife Annabell Vance Garman on January 21, 1978 who survives. He also leaves to mourn his passing one son and daughter-in-law James and Joyce Garman of Sinking Spring Community, one step son and step daughter-in-law Richard and Sandy Vance of Hillsboro, four grandchildren Kenneth Garman, Michele Raymond Ahrman, Carol Cadwallader, Mark Pam Garman, eight great grandchildren, three step grandchildren, five step great grandchildren, two sisters, Olive Ferrell of Bainbridge and Ruby Shoemaker of Lynchburg, one brother, Chester Garman of Xenia.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, December 5, 2002 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring. Daniel Osborne will officiate with burial following in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
