Fern Arey, 92 years of Peebles, died Wednesday, October 30, 2002 at the Otterbein Retirement Community in Lebanon.
She was born in Zion City, Illinois on January 7, 1910 the daughter of the late Lewis and Laura Chalk Rogers.
She was a member of the Peebles United Methodist Church.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel Cullens, and Beatrice Bamgartner.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Joyce Arey of Centerville, two daughters, Leah Ann Mussinan of Ripley, Ellen Arey Litton of Mason, seven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 1, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at the Peebles United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Peebles United Methodist Church.
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of arrangements.
