Fern Douglas, 77 years of Peebles, died Monday, November 6, 2006 at the Adams County Hospital in West Union.
She was born in Peebles, Ohio on July 26, 1929 the daughter of the late Solomon and Ida Pendell McCoy.
She was a member of the Conaway Chapel United Methodist Church and the Adams County Quilt Club.
She was united in marriage on November 4, 1949 to Tener Douglas, who survives. She is also survived by two sisters, Mary Jean Davis of Xenia, Gladys June Henize of Peebles, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Greg Seaman officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
