Flora Ann Foster

Flora Ann Foster, 91 years of Peebles, died Sunday, June 27, 2004 at the Adams County Hospital in West Union.
She was born in Peebles, Ohio on January 11, 1913 the daughter of the late Bert and Alice Stephenson Wilson.
She was a member of the Peebles Church of Christ, was a teacher of various Sunday School Classes from Toddlers to Adult Ladies, and was the family historian compiling an extensive genealogy.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Merle Foster, who passed away January 3, 1999, and one daughter, Wynona Ellen Lewis, who passed away in 1972.
She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Bill and Dolores Foster of Greenville, Ohio, Ted Foster of West Union, daughter, Jean F. McCarty of Peebles, grandson she raised from birth, John E. Lewis of West Union, nine grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2004 at 6:00 P.M. at the Peebles Church of Christ with Jim Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in the Jacksonville Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 till 6:00 P.M. at the Peebles Church of Christ.
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of arrangements.
