Florence Lucille Ladd, 88 years of Hillsboro, died Saturday, August 8, 2009 at St. Catherine's Care Center in Washington C.H..
She was born in Highland Co., OH on October 24, 1920 the daughter of the late Charles and Nettie Haines Collins.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Denson Ladd, Sr., who died May 4, 2008, four brothers, Wendell, Doyle, Harry & Wallace Collins, and one sister Sarah Cannon.
She is survived by one son and daughter in-law, Jacob Denson & Gamma Ladd, Jr. of Washington C.H., and one daughter & son in-law, Betty & John Dodds of Hillsboro, three grandchildren, Mark Lisa Dodds of Amelia, Tim Sharon Dodds of Loveland & Chris Michele Dodds of Washington C.H., also five great grandchildren, Ashley, Ryan, Shelby, Brennan & Courtney.
Services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home. Friends may call on Friday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
