Floyd Edward Puckett, 86 years of Florida, died Saturday, October 27, 2001 after an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred F. and Sadie Puckett, sisters, Anna Frances and Audrey, brothers Warren and Lloyd and infant son, James Robert.
He graduated from high school in Locust Grove, Ohio and moved to Palm Beach County, Florida in 1959 where he was a 32nd degree Mason. A real estate agent, he also worked for ten years at the Noreen McKeen Residence and Skilled Nurse Facility in West Palm Beach until his retirement in the early 90?s.
He is survived by his daughters, Jean Chuck Cocherell and Kathi Ed Crocco of Tennessee, Peggy Fogle and Lela Ken Buscemi of Palm Beach County, Florida, and sons, Ronald Paula Puckett of Georgia, Donald Florence Puckett of Maine and Larry Puckett of Oklahoma, brother, Chester Shirley Puckett of Chillicothe, sisters, Ethle Surber of Hillsboro, Doris Frank McCoppin and Mary Whiting of Springfield, sister-in-law, Mary Puckett of Owensville, and his devoted best friend, Eunice Chaves of Boynton Beach, Florida, twenty-nine grandchildren, sixty-eight great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2001 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Robert Linter officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Sinking Spring, Ohio.
Friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
