Floyd Warren, Jr., 85 years of Dayton, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton.
He was born in Lexington, Kentucky on August 8, 1925 the son of the late Floyd and Cordi Underwood Warren, Sr. He lived and worked in Dayton, OH for most of his life.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one daughter; Betty Ann Lee, two brothers; Roy Warren and Tommy Carmichael, three sisters; Mary Edith King, Betty Jean Land, and Anna "Bendy" Griffieth, and one grandson; Timothy Fields.
He is survived by his wife Wanda Burns Warren of Dayton whom he married on August 25, 1967, one son; Mike Warren of Dayton, two daughters and sons-in-law; Mary Lou and Mel Frady of Union, Ohio and Pamela and Donald Dailey of Dayton, granddaughter; Mary Ruth Devore Evans who he raised from infancy, one brother and sister-in-law; Bobby and Margaret Warren of Georgetown, Kentucky, 8 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nepehews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at 12:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Don Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. till 12:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
