Floyd S. Watson

Floyd S. Watson, 81 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, December 19, 2002 at his residence.

He was born in Buford, Ohio on July 1, 1921 the son of the late William Fred and Goldie Mae Dumford Watson.

He was a United States Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Hillsboro VFW Post #9094, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #1161 of Hillsboro.

Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one grandson, Russell Dewey Dunseith, one brother, Gene Watson, and one sister, Gladys Williamson.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Watson Watson, who he married on January 11, 1946, three sons, Larry Watson of Lynchburg, William and Lynn Watson of Hillsboro, Anthony Watson of Sabina, five daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Bobby Manning of Waynesville, Helen and William Bohl of Hillsboro, Carol and Dewey Dunseith of Hillsboro, Brina and Leon Dunseith of Lynchburg, Delores and George Beatty of New Vienna, one brother and sister-in-law, Freddie and Martha Watson of Florida, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Bernice and Ed Bond of Felecity, Norma and Nolan Malott of Williamsburg, twenty-four grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 23, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Todd Toole officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens with military graveside rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.

Friends may call on Monday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
