Forrest R. Carroll

Forest R. "Zeke" Carroll, 71 years of the Sinking Spring Community passed away Saturday, October 19, 2013.
He was born in Brush Creek Township on August 9, 1942, the son of the late Robert T. "Speed" Carroll and Delberta Orene "Tootie" Carroll of Sinking Spring.
Zeke had retired from Baker Concrete after 25 years of service and was a lifelong farmer.
Beside his father, he was preceded in death by a brother Rick Carroll and a nephew David Chaney.
On May 7, 1965 he was united in marriage to Jenny Hendrixson Carroll who survives; his mother "Tootie" Carroll; one son Shane Carroll of Sinking Spring; one daughter Sharon Maxwell of Sinking Spring; one grandson Logan Maxwell; one great grandson Lane Maxwell; two brothers Roger Carroll of Sinking Spring and Tim Beverly Carroll of Hillsboro; one sister Joyce Wendell Sparks of Hillsboro; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring.
Dwight Crum will officiate with burial to follow in the Carroll Cemetery.
riends may call Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
