Frances Davis, 79 years of Hillsboro, died Monday, December 14, 2009 at her residence.
She was born in Hillsboro, Ohio on March 10, 1930 the daughter of the late John and Frances Lewis Morris. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by one brother Virgil Morris.
She is survived by her husband Thomas E. "Gene" Davis whom she married on December 22, 1951, one son Robert E. Davis of Hillsboro, two daughters and sons in law, Mary L. and Ron Crase of Cincinnati, Patricia E. and Steven Hipsher of Wilmington, four brothers, John E. Morris of Hillsboro, Richard Morris of Hillsboro, Fred Morris of Hillsboro, Franklin Morris of Lutz, FL., four sisters, Della Marie Tucker of Wilmington, Louise Davis of Hillsboro, Margaret Creamer of Hillsboro, Charlotte Holt of Hillsboro, eight grandchildren, Kristy Cox, Nikki Turner, Jason Faul, Justin Faul, Tanya Davis, Josh Davis, Pam Smedley, Dominic Hipsher and several great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Port William, Ohio. There will be no visitation.
Thompson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
